BatterieTodt at Haringzelle

This site is called "
BatterieTodt" at Haringzelles, a few miles from Wimeruex (North France) and was home to 4 of these large structures, each housing a 380 mm SK C/34 gun weighing 120 Tons. The site was named after Dr Fritz Todt, who was given the task of building these bunkers. Unfortunately he died in a plane crash before the site was completed.

Model layout of how the Batterie would have looked back in the 40’s

The following photos are of Turm 4

Looks to be an air raid shelter under one of the guns of TODT

Inside of one of buildings at TODT, you clearly see the German markings on the walls. Shame, when I took the photo I could not see this, it was a case of pointing the camera and hoping for the best. As I had forgotten to take a torch with me, Doh.
Also note the ceiling, what resembles an RSJ stuck to it, this was used to carry the shells to the 380mm gun.

This video on youtube, possibly shows one of the guns at Todt in the opening scenes, does anyone know for sure?

I would appreciate further information on this site, as I can find little documentation on it. It would be great to see some photos of the site from back in the 40’s.
