BatterieTodt
at Haringzelle
Model layout of how the Batterie would have looked back in the 40’s
The following
photos are of Turm 4
Looks to be an air raid shelter under one of the guns of TODT
Inside of
one of buildings at TODT, you clearly see the German markings on the
walls. Shame, when I took the photo I could not see this, it was a case
of pointing the camera and hoping for the best. As I had forgotten to
take a torch with me, Doh.
This video on youtube, possibly shows one of the guns at Todt in the opening scenes, does anyone know for sure? I would appreciate further information on this site, as I can find little documentation on it. It would be great to see some photos of the site from back in the 40’s.
