Choosing the right tyre for your Baja Beetle or come to that any type of car is key to it’s performance. When choosing a set of tyres there are many things to consider, obviously the biggest of these is what will fit, with beetles, without doing major cutting work to wings you want be able to put off road tyres on, but certainly you can increase the size somewhat.

Baja’s can take huge wheels, Mint currently uses 255/75 15’s on the rear, 205/60 15’s on the front. Now these are pretty small for an off roader. These will soon be replaced with larger 255/80 16’s
