The land rover under 1000 quid challenge

Well as the name suggests I’ve started thinking about my next project vehicle, I know I still need to finish the baja beetle, but I need something els to start thinking about. So I have decided to source either a 90 or 110 land rover as the next project and on top of the that as the basis it should be under £1000 and be road legal, I.E. MOT’d and Taxed (preferably Historic vehicle, thus being TAX exempt), although we are open to any offer, should be doable I think.

General overhaul of landy
Fitting of a high lift suspension kit
Fitting really big off road tyres.
Some electrics (alarm, central door locking etc)
Refurbishment of the engine.
